How your donations help...
While the veterinarians we use generously provide services at a reduced cost, medical care remains our largest expense. Each cat is given a thorough exam and vaccines. Often, they need additional help, including costly surgeries and more long-term care to regain health. All rescues are also spayed/neutered. The average cost per cat is $500 to $1,000 Even more if they need surgeries and long-term care.
BDRF is entirely made up of volunteers. So, unlike large national charities, overhead is low and more of your money goes directly to care. You also have the comfort of knowing your donation is helping the local community.
