atticus
Atticus was living in a feral colony. He had a limp but would never let any one near him to help. He was finally trapped and brought to BDRF.
X-rays showed that he had a broken toe on his left front foot that had healed wrong. The wrist on his right foot had
also been broken and it fused together when it healed. This poor young man managed to survive breaks to both his front legs most likely at the same time. We can only imagine the pain he suffered. The toe sticks out and is in the way of his walking. It’s causing him great pain still. Our vet suggested amputating the toe to give him relief. Because of the nerves and small bones in his foot we would like to bring him to an orthopedic vet. Another cost that exceeds our budget! We will find a way to get him the special care he needs, will you help?
