Taj
While we were rescuing Tiny Tim and his siblings, we also found Taj hiding under a bush with her one surviving kitten. To our horror we saw that her tail was missing and what was left was gravely infected and broken.
She had escaped a violent animal attack. Despite this she was caring for her kitten! It took 24 hours to trap her and get her to the vet. She had emergency surgery to remove the remaining tail. Taj was very lucky to have survived the attack and lucky again that a BDRF volunteer was looking under the bushes!! We also rescued her kitten, Tessa, who was just as gorgeous as mom!
