Liberty (Libby for short) was rescued July 4th weekend.  She is a sweet, friendly cat that we found nearly starved to death in a neighborhood driveway.  Clearly abandoned and left to fend for herself.  I've actually never seen a cat this thin that was still living! She was filthy, covered in fleas and emaciated but she purred up a storm and just wanted to be petted and loved.  The vet check revealed that in addition to being starved she has a serious case of hyperthyroidism.  Similar to Mariah, whom we treated with radio-iodine therapy a couple of months ago, Libby has a long road ahead to be returned to the beautiful cat she once was, but she can be cured.  With your help we can raise the $1,500 needed  for treatment and care.  If you would like to help this beautiful and sweet deserving cat be restored to health, please donate now!
