Gabriella

Gabriella aka Gabby, has been with us since 2015 and she is our very precious deaf cat. Although being deaf does not stop her from talking, very loudly, all day long!
We guess she suffered a trauma (maybe hit by a car). Along with her deafness she has some neurological issues that make her a little unsteady. But that doesn't slow her down!
Because she has these issues she gets anxious in new situations and makes a lot of aggressive noises. The shelter that originally took her in did not know what was wrong with her and did not take the time to find out, they just deemed her aggressive and scheduled her to be killed. Luckily we stepped in. After having her in foster care for just a few days we were able to determine what her issues were. We approached her differently and took time and care in getting her comfortable. She is now a very loving and happy girl!! She needs daily medications for her neurological problems. She is very funny and a complete a joy!
Recently she developed a new problem with ulcers on her feet. Gabby has had a couple of surgeries, frequent vet visits and bandage changes. She would really benefit from a monthly sponsor!
